Pompanoosuc Mills Furniture Store (8’x9’) The design for this mural is inspired by some of Mark’s paintings. He is interested in using non-objective images to show movement and draw the viewer’s eye through the space as if part of a dance. Notice the repeating football shapes, the larger swirling shapes in the background and the curving horn shapes coming in from the corners. This image is based on flat layers of space to create a rich, sophisticated composition. The color for the image was inspired by the furniture and décor in the space.
